Dev International at CosmoHome 2024: Shelf-Led Exhibition Stall Design in New Delhi

Client: Dev International

A canted white portal, deliberately off-square, marks the corner of this two-side-open stand, with the web address set vertically down one leg. Inside, light wood floating shelves run the full length of two walls, holding the range in rows a visitor can read standing up. Maroon-framed printed panels between them carry the company and product text. Maroon slat battens cross the ceiling with caged pendants and track spots between them, and two low counters mark each brand zone.

Context

The Brief

At CosmoHome in Pragati Maidan, Dev International had to present two identities at once, its own trading name and the Growequal consumer range, on a 30 sqm plot open along two sides. The bottles are small, the SKU count is large, and buyers wanted to pick things up. That made the exhibition stall design at CosmoHome New Delhi a shelving problem before anything else.

Why It Worked

Buyers scanned the shelf line first and asked about specific jars, which is a much better opening than a brochure. The tilted portal made the corner legible from both aisles without a heavy header, and the warm maroon-and-timber palette separated the exhibition stall design at CosmoHome New Delhi from the white systems on either side. Seating at the rear held the longer negotiations.
