Vasant | wood-and-white exhibition stall design at Anuga FoodTec Mumbai

18 sqm in a food hall does not allow a big gesture. The plot was open on two sides, and what Vasant needed was warmth — something closer to a kitchen than a trade counter — with enough shelf space for a wide masala and ready-mix range and somewhere for distributors to sit. That was the brief behind this exhibition stall design at Anuga FoodTec Mumbai.

That was the brief behind this exhibition stall design at Anuga FoodTec Mumbai.

Teak-finish laminate carries the warmth in this trade show booth: floating shelves along the white walls, a slatted ceiling panel over the centre, a reception counter in wood veneer with an LED strip washing under its top, and wood-look flooring in the seating bay. Backlit lightboxes in orange, yellow and purple break the white between shelves. A raised header holds the red Vasant logo box above roof height, and hanging foliage softens the corner column.

Warm surfaces read as approachable at a distance, and the raised logo box gave a small stall a tall marker. Visitors browsed the shelf wall unprompted, then took the round table if the conversation went further. Keeping the counter at the corner meant the seating bay stayed private, which is what an 18 sqm exhibition stall design at Anuga FoodTec Mumbai has to protect.
